  • Graceful and refined, easily recognized by its open crown of ground-sweeping branches. Leaves are light green above, grayish-green beneath. Few trees add as much grace to the landscape. This willow grows especially well near water, and has a deep aggressive root system for seeking water underground. Should not be planted near septic tanks or fields. Beautiful near ponds or streams, or as a lawn specimen.
