Grown primarily for its foliage, this plant forms a slowly spreading tall Evergreen to Semi-Evergreen (depending on exposure and severity of winter) groundcover. It will not tolerate poor drainage or wet soils in winter, but other than that it is easy to grow with no pest problems. Yellow blooms in spring. Great with 'Golden Creeping Jenny' for foliage and height contrast, 'Heucera 'Obsidian'' for color contrast, 'Carex 'Evergold' for texture contrast or 'Hostas'.
