After the highly successful introduction of the Purple Wave Petunia (which is actually a magenta color), other colors and types soon were bred. There are more of the original wave types, like the Pink, White, and Blue Wave (although the Blue is actually a deep Purple) and also a series called Easy Wave, which has more of a mounded (height about 6-12"), also with a slight spreading habit. There is the Double Wave, with double flowers, that has more of a trailing habit and is best for containers and baskets. The Shock Wave is designed for smaller spaces, with a height of 7-10" and a spread of 30-36". And finally, the biggest of them all, the Tidal Wave; for mountains of color in big gardens or large containers. Height 16-22", Spread: 30-60". They all come in a variety of colors.
