This grass is versatile and looks good all season long. It features showy pinkish tan foxtail plumes in early summer that are raised up above the foliage. It produces plumes all summer long. It is one of the earliest blooming grasses. It can be used in foundation plantings for a textural accent, in masses or drifts and in mixed borders.
