This is a grass which has an upright vase shaped form and showy red-gold flowers. Variegated with silver foliage and thin green midribs. Prefers full sun for best form. Beautiful in late summer with showy plumes that change from red to puffy cream plumes. Great background plant in perennial borders, as a specimen, or garden focal point.
