  • A beautiful warm season vine, Mandevilla is a tropical plant that is not hardy in our area. It is possible to overwinter the plant inside if you have a sunny location indoors. It is worth planting as an annual, however due to the non-stop display of rich pink trumpet shaped flowers on fast growing vines with glossy green leaves. It can be trained on an arbor, or any kind of trellis. It makes a great centerpiece in a large pot, or can be planted in the ground and allowed to scramble up a fence. Mandevillas are heavy feeders, so fertilize and water regularly and you will be rewarded with fast growth and abundant blooms.
