Vibrant gold foliage is outstanding in all seasons. A shrub wider than tall with a spreading form useful for filling out a sparse landscape. Cold hardy and rugged, plants are reliable growers, and actually become brighter yellow in the heat of summer. Equally vibrant in the winter landscape. A perfect scale for foundation planting, or in shrub beds along fence lines. Adapted to banks and slopes as well as low, natural hedge applications. Combine with green junipers for a striking foliage contrast. Drought, disease and pest resistant. Junipers are among one of the toughest plants for the landscape. Junipers prefer open, sunny locations in well-drained soils. Once established, junipers need very little supplemental irrigation.
