Somewhat Deer Resistant
This spreading grass adds bright color and soft texture. Suitable for Japanese gardens, near ponds, as a garden accent or rock swales. Watch out for it spreading, as it can be somewhat aggressive. (This usually happens over time after it is well established) Prefers sun for best red color. Beautiful in late summer with the sun reflecting through the leaves. Great contrast plant. Very rarely, sections will revert to its green form, which should be removed immediately. (If you see any solid green sections, pull them out)
