New Guinea Impatiens have larger, showier flowers than regular impatiens. They also will tolerate more sun. Deer also prefer them less, although they are not deer proof. They come in a variety of flower and leaf colors (Dark leaved varieties are available) We like them for their adapability in many situations where regular impatiens would not thrive, and like them for their own merits, the showy flowers and glossy foliage make them a worthwhile addition to the landscape.
