Festive has extremely shiny, dark green spiny foliage. It is a very dense growing pyramidal holly. It is part of group is called the Red Holly™ hybrids because it produces new growth that is a red to maroon color. It is easy to grow and care for. It can be planted in full sun or partial shade, in a spot that is protected from damaging winter winds. 'Festive' makes an excellent anchor plant for a foundation planting or a good corner plant because it won't overpower the house.
