This is a grass which has an upright vase shaped form and showy red-gold flowers. Lightly variegated with green foliage and thin white midribs. Prefers full sun for best form. Beautiful in late summer with showy plumes that change from red to puffy cream plumes. Great background plant in perennial borders, as a specimen, or garden focal point.
