This is one of our favorites! Ice plant has green succulent leaves and bright, 1" daisy-like, magenta flowers that appear all summer, and into the fall. Beautiful en masse on berms, creeping through rockery, or edging the sunny border. Each plant spreads quickly to form pleasing low mounds of color. Needs excellent drainage, and tolerates considerable drought. Suitable for foundation plantings, as it blooms all summer long and remains tidy, hugging the ground. Long bloom time and neat habit make it a great addition to any landscape.
