Care: Cut to ground in fall or spring before new growth begins. To keep plants compact, cut back to ground after blooming. This will also encourage possible reblooming.
Somewhat Deer resistant
This is a mound shaped plant with masses of unusual clear blue flowers. Ideal for the informal border or cottage garden. Good fall color. Companions: 'Flower Carpet Roses' (Pink), 'Artemisia Powis Castle' and 'Salvia 'Snow Hills''. Tolerates shade, but bloom and habit are best in full sun. This is a new hybrid variety that is considered an improvement of the older 'Johnson's Blue'
