This selection is very similar to 'Crimson Pygmy Barberry' but has a looser growth habit. New growth has lovely rose pink and creamy white mottled splotches, and arches gracefully. Bright yellow spring flowers and deep red fall color add to the ornamental attributes of this excellent contrast or accent plant. Useful for foundation plantings, mixed borders and hedges. Responds well to pruning. Looks great with Blues, golds and greens. Very drought tolerant once established. Best color in full sun.
