One of the most reliable Barberries, this variety has excellent deep burgundy foliage color. Bright yellow spring flowers and deep red fall color add to the ornamental attributes of this excellent contrast or accent plant. Useful for foundation plantings, mixed borders and rock gardens. Responds well to pruning. Excellent drought tolerance once established. Looks great with Blues, golds and greens. Best color in full sun.
