A beautiful cool season annual, Alyssum is wonderful in containers, hanging baskets or as an edging. It great in combination with pansies in the spring. It is not heat tolerant, so bear this in mind as our summer heat will melt it out. It is still worth planting in the spring due for its fragrant cheery snowflake flowers that combine well with other cool season flowers.
