  • One of the most dramatic Japanese Maples, especially in winter when the bright coral red branches glow. The soft green leaves are a sharp contrast to the brilliant bark and in winter the shining stems stand out against white drifts of snow and drab winter colors. Bright, golden fall color is another showy attribute. Fall color is best when planted in sun. Excellent specimen plant. Beautiful winter silhouette. Upright shape. Moderate to slow growth.
