The lesser seen green leaf variety of the Japanese Maple, this tree deserves more use in the landscape. Although it lacks the red leaf color of it's more popular relatives, it has much to offer nonetheless. An attractive small, very slow growing tree, it has a neat and tidy habit with bright green small leaves that turn a glowing golden or orange in fall. It also has attractive bark and a sculptural branching habit that forms an interesting winter silhouette.
