One of the best small ornamental trees, the Paperbark maple has outstanding exfoliating cinnamon colored bark that is extremely attractive all year long. It has medium green leaves during the summer, and excellent fall color which can include red, orange and pink tones. It is very slow growing, so the mature size should be taken with a grain of salt; it will take some time to achieve.
